মার্বেল খেলার নিয়ম। গ্রাম বাংলার ঐতিহ্যবাহী মারবেল খেলা। The game of rural Bengal. rules of marble. ঝিনাইদহ কালীগঞ্জের মাষ্টারপাড়ায় হয়ে গেল গ্রাম বাংলার ঐতিহ্যবাহী গুটি/মার্রবেল খেলা । আধুনিকতার ছোয়ায় হারিয়ে গেছে এই সকল আঞ্চলিক খেলাগুলো । শৈশবের স্মৃতি বিজরিত অনেক কিছুই এখন আমরা আর দেখতে পারি না । এই খেলার অনেক নিয়মাবলী ও ভিন্নরকম খেলা আছে। যেমনঃ গর চোর খেলা, আন্টিস খেলা, বাঘ খেলা ইত্যাদি। মার্বেল খেলার জন্য কমপক্ষে দুইজন খেলোয়াড় দরকার হয়। তিন, চার, পাঁচ, বা সাতজন মিলেও খেলা যায়। পরিষ্কার সমতল ভূমি এই খেলার জন্য উপযোগী। প্রথমে দুইটি একটি রেখা টানতে হয়। রেখা থেকে চার-পাঁচ হাত দূরে একটি গর্ত করতে হয় যেন একটি মার্বেল সেই গর্তে বসতে পারে। আঞ্চলিক ভাষায় রেখাটিকে (কোথাও ‘জই’ নামে পরিচিত) এবং গর্তটিকে ‘কেপ’ বলে। জলার বাইরে পা রেখে প্রত্যেকে একটি করে মার্বেল কেপ এ ফেলার চেষ্টা করে। যার মার্বেল কেপ এ বা পরে সবচেয়ে কাছে যায় সে প্রথম দান পায়। সবাই প্রথম যে দান পায় তার হাতে ২/৩/৪টি করে মার্বেল জমা দেয়। সে মার্বেলগুলো ছকের বাইরে বসে সামনের দিকে ওই গর্তের আশপাশে আলতো করে ছড়িয়ে দেয়। এরপর অন্য খেলোয়াড়রা একটা নির্দিষ্ট মার্বেলকে বলে ‘বাদ’। অর্থাৎ ওই মার্বেল ছাড়া বাকি যে কোন একটি মার্বেলকে অন্য একটি মার্বেল ছেড়ে দিয়ে স্পর্শ করতে হবে। যদি এমনটা পারে তাহলে ওই দান সে জিতে যায়। আর না পারলে পরবর্তী জন একইভাবে খেলার সুযোগ পায়। তবে ‘বাদ’ দেয়া মার্বেল কিংবা অন্য একাধিক মারবেল ছুঢ়ে দেয়া মার্বেল স্পর্শ করলে ওই খেলোয়াড়কে ফাইন দিতে হয়। এবং দান জেতার জন্য পরবর্তী খেলোয়াড় ফাইন হওয়া মার্বেলসহ সেগুলো ছড়িয়ে় দিয়ে খেলতে থাকে। যে কেউ দান জিতলে আবার পুনরায় খেলা শুর হয়। এভাবেই চলতে থাকে যতক্ষণ না প্রতিপক্ষ আত্মসমর্পণ করে কিংবা তার কাছের মার্বেল শেষ না হয়ে যায়। ======================= The traditional guti / marble game of rural Bengal.
