At first I wanted to do the whole "become an unholy assassin" thing but I just couldn't. I had to end his despicable reign of madness. I actually didn't know the skeletons die after you kill him otherwise I would have just focused him. But I generally don't like it when minions die after the boss is down. Baldur's Gate 3 is an incredible game and the devs did an exceptionally good job with the whole Baal temple quest chain.
