Regarding authenticity, the filmmakers did manage to accurately depict certain aspects, such as the visual representation of the dinosaurs, which was based on the prevailing scientific knowledge. Nevertheless, the portrayal of dinosaurs depicts them as significantly more violent and dynamic than they probably were in actuality. It is crucial to bear in mind that the Jurassic films are fictional and, although they may have stimulated an interest in palaeontology, they should not be regarded as precise depictions of prehistoric life. Ongoing studies conducted by scientists are continuously expanding our knowledge of dinosaurs, contributing to a more precise understanding of these captivating creatures.
