Tuesday 11th June 2024 and just one day to the grand opening of the extension from North Pier to Blackpool North Railway Station tram plaza. Trams out on the day were: Service T1: 002 003 006 007 008 010 013 014 015 Talbot Road testing: 016AD 017 Additional "No Entry" bollards were being affixed to the roadway at the entrance to the tram plaza and it is hoped that more will be in place at the west end of Talbot Road. The yellow box junction at Promenade/Talbot Square remains faded and was already backing up with traffic on a quiet day!
