If you've watched the movie "Lincoln", then you might be familiar with the opening scene that depicts a vicious Civil War battle being fought in the mud and rain. The battle shown in that opening scene was from the Battle of Jenkins' Ferry, which was fought in Arkansas during the Red River Campaign in 1864. In this episode, we're traveling to central Arkansas to explore this battlefield that is often overlooked in the history of the Civil War. In the follow up, we'll be pulling out our metal detectors and joining @digginonfaith531 to unearth some rare artifacts from the fighting that took place there. This episode was produced in partnership with The Gettysburg Museum of History.
