Today we are hiking the historic Maroon trail, the Cunha Cunha Pass! Named after a mountain in Nigeria, this incredible trail takes us from Hayfield, St Thomas Parish through the John Crow and Blue Mountains to Millbank in Portland Parish. It's been many many years since Mokko guided anyone, but today Ratty & I are lucky to have him showing us the way. We learn about local animals & plants, find some renta yam, try some black wiss water Rambo style, see some insanely weird looking stinkhorn mushrooms, drink from multiple crystal clear spring waterfalls, and get completely soaked by rain!
