Leather wallets made on my Mitsubishi walking foot sewing machine with money shot In this video, I show how I build wallets that I designed. My idea is based on my past store bought wallets being too thick once loaded with credit cards. Most wallets basically stack all the credit cards directly on top of one another once the wallet is folded. After some measuring I came up with a plan to cut the thickness in half by making two stacks. The basic measurements are: (1) Outer Panel 11.5" x 4.375" (1) Inner Panel 10.875" x 4.125" (2) Pocket Panels 3" x 5.5" (1) Outer Liner 11" x 4" (1) Inner Liner 10.375" x 3.75" I have carried a wallet with these dimensions for about 6 months now and not only is the wallet thinner and more comfortable, the format fits in every pocket I have cared to place it in.
