This is my Outward Definitive Edition Shield Build Called the Immortal Defender. This is how I prefer to play with a shield as it gives you a lot of resistance to attacks and lets you stay in close to your enemy even if they throw AOE at you. The character itself doesn't look that bad either and gives you an excuse to use virgin armor which sometimes gets overlooked. Enjoy tons lof cooldown and fantastic speed while using armor that actually protects you pretty well against attacks. Take advantage of wind infuse for that sweet sweet knockback or simply got with Infuse light to deal more elemental damage. I really found this build to be fun as it makes you feel more in control during fights rather than needing to dodge every attack that comes your way. This is the Immortal Defender and here is how you can build it yourself. Outward is an RPG/survival game that allows you take to make an almost infinite number of builds. Melee, magic, archery, and even traps are scattered across this harsh world in the form of skills. You must have a large amount of money to purchase these skills, but luckily the monsters drop extremely valuable items. The game has been harshly criticized due to how realistic and difficult it is.
