As I recorded the video for "The Shortest Straw", I thought the bass sound was peculiar and somewhat familiar. I did some research and found out that the Bass for AJFA album was actually recorded using a WAL bass! I had to try it out! So I decided to go for this song. There is no isolated track but I found it is available on Rocksmith, so I studied the bass line from there. I found it peculiar how on the record it seems he plays really long notes during the riffs after the solo... I decided to play those riffs as a solo bass segue to the song in the end just for fun.
