Makes a ton of sense, right?) - Back pressuring the call (which means blocking the end of the call to make it break from low to high. Again, Seriously? I want the birds to hear me. Try yelling with your hand over your mouth...) - Grunting all of the time to produce a low and/or raspy sound (If the call is made properly, it has raspiness and low notes built-in. It doesn't take all of that effort to make the call sound great.) - Blowing your brains out (Most people think that volume is a function of hard air pressure. It is NOT.
