We leave lovely Braunston to start our narrowboat travel adventures, but things don't go QUITE to plan in a fairly spectacular fashion. I was expecting to make a chill cruising vlog about our peaceful life on the water as new continuous cruisers etc, but life comes at you fast sometimes. Even when you're moving quite slowly. Anyway, falling off a moving boat into freezing cold canal water wasn't a boatlife rite of passage that I was dying to tick off, but here we are. Apparently this means I'm a real boater now! This was a few months ago, so the immediate rage (at myself) and despair has passed, I just had to be dramatic about it first 😂.
