Unimatic in HD - first pass with the T2i

(Post posting: Well, it appears YT didn't process the garbage from iMovie as HD, which doesn't surprise me considering the copy is iMovie '08. Next step: FCP or FCE). Picked up the Canon T2i on Friday and shot some photos and film this afternoon. First pass at photos - great shooting camera. Huge change from the used and beaten Canon Power Shot, as well as from an old school film SLR, the Pentax ME Super. Looking forward to a range of new lenses in the next few months. First pass at Film: this is a glimpse of what it can do with the stock lens, shaky camera work, poor lighting, and novice experience at best. Overall, not bad for a first try! I love the 24p with the Unimatic. While you don't get to see the harsh brutality of the 1140 RPM, the overall presence that is captured at 24p is almost cinema-esque, or relaxing in a funny sort of way. I need to remember to keep the lens clean after each shot :D Shot at 1920/24p with the crappy kit Canon 18-55 lens (how I miss a prime!). As a first try, it can only get better from here.
