'Tristan's Law': A push for safer ice cream trucks to protect children nationwide

Advocates behind Connecticut's Tristan's Law gathered in Hartford to push for a nationwide standard for ice cream truck safety in an effor to protect children. Tristian's Law is named in honor of 10-year-old Tristan Barhorst, of Wallingford, who died in 2020 when he was hit ban a vehicle while ceossing the street to buy a popsicle from an ice cream truck.
