This was a experimental project for me and got done in a month, it has taken up all my free time but im so thankful i got it done before the deadline. ——— What is this au about? small summary, i follow the unoffical origin of maggottail and how he has gotten his tail bitten off from a fox. Instead of surviving the infestation, he succumbs and grows very ill. The medicine cat cant seem to cure him as his condition just grows worse and worse. This causes dashpaw’s mother and the medicine cat to argue frequently. Other apprentices tease him while hes practically on his death bed, causing him to become angry and hateful, though his condition makes it hard for him to express anything or do anything about the bullying. One night in dashpaw’s dreams however, he is met by OneEye, the first darkforest cat. OneEye encorages Dashpaw to exact his revenge and he does so, killing all of the other apprentices in their sleep. (He is too weak to actually kill them awake) Once the camp wakes up, they are horrified to see what Dashpaw has done. In a fit of rage and disbelief, dashpaw’s mother is the one to put him down. ——— What inspired this? A part of the story is inspired by draikinator’s story for maggottail, atleast the killing apprentices part. The rest i just connected myself with the information i have. Nothing specific inspired the animation or theme of this video, only my own imagination (see what i did there) i havent seen any warrior cats video that goes all out in disgusting content like this, so i did it myself. ——— Why maggottail? Maggottail has always been one of my favorite warrior cats right next to ashfur. Not because of his story, but because of what maggottail CAN be. He is such a mysterious character with such a cool name, it makes you think what maggottail could look like.
