Testing the old and new water pumps and safety valves for the Breville Barista Express (BES-870XL). It appears the old pump has a slightly lower pressure output judging by how far is shoots water. But it seems that the old safety or over pressure valve (OPV) might be leaking. The new valve on the new pump had no water coming out of it, but the old valve was dripping water even under low pressure operation.
