Children In Lagos Slum Keep Hope Alive Despite Odds | Community Report

The children of a notorious informal settlement in Badia area of Lagos got a shot at leading a better life when a dance artist picked them up from the streets. She clothed them, fed and enrolled them in a school. That effort is now suffering a setback as the state government insists that Oma Harrison, the social worker behind the initiative must fulfill the requirement for running a foundation. The children are back with their parents at the slum with concerns that they may not return to school when school resumes in a couple of days.
