🇵🇱 Fort V powstawał w latach 1883-88, niedaleko wsi Dębina i Czosnów, w ramach budowy pierwszego pierścienia fortów wokół Modlina. Był to obiekt dwuwałowy, z wyższym wałem artyleryjskim i niższym wałem piechoty. Na jego terenie powstały ceglane schrony i prochownie. Całość otoczono murem Carnota, a głęboka fosa otacza nie tylko sam fort, ale także ciągnie się z obu stron fortu przez kilkaset metrów. Podczas modernizacji fortu po 1894 roku przebudowano najważniejsze bojowe obiekty ceglane zastępując je umocnieniami betonowymi. Przebudowa fortu nie została zakończona przed 1915 rokiem. The whole structure was surrounded by a Carnot wall, and a deep moat surrounds not only the fort itself, but also extends on both sides of the fort for several hundred metres. During the modernisation of the fort after 1894, the most important brick battlements were rebuilt, replacing them with concrete fortifications. The reconstruction of the fort was not completed until 1915.
