3rd Year PT students tackle spinal cord injury rehab with Dr. Krzak | Wheelchair Skills & Gait Lab

Currently our 3rd years are in their Spinal Cord Injury unit in Adult Neuro II. Last week students were introduced to the INSCI and completed an assessment on peers along with had fun in wheelchair and gait lab. In the gait lab, students worked on compensatory training or “para gait” using different assistive devices such as KAFOS. In the wheelchair lab, they practiced wheelies, curb negotiation and stair negotiation.
