A devotee of Jim Reeves, she wrote poems for him, she listened to his records on repeat, and she has married a man called Jim, in honour of the singer. Reeves had died in a plane crash in 1964, but that hadn't dampened Maureen's fascination. Fourteen years later, an episode of People took the story up again.
