Refracted is inspired by the complicated ups and downs of queer love and what it's like to fall in love as a young person. A huge, huge thank you to Nebraska Wesleyan University for producing this film. As a part of the advanced Directing class offered at Wesleyan, I was tasked to pick between a short film or a one-act play and after things out of my control got in the way, I decided to produce a script that I had been writing since my freshman year. I couldn't be more happy that I ended up using this script. This film goes out to everyone who has experienced queer love. To those who have yet to figure out who they are, who they love, and all the other complicated stuff that comes with coming out: I see you, I've been you, and you will get through it. I am so proud of everyone who worked on this project and I hope you enjoy!
