THE REMNANT: A PEOPLE OF HIS PRESENCE “Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭11‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭KJV‬ * God has a Reservation. This reservation is also known as the Remnant – Rom. 11:3-5 * The Agenda of the Lord in Now and Next Generation will be carried out by the Remnant. * A major strategy God has to reach a Generation is having a Reservation. Nothing ever surprises God. * God is always Ahead. * He sees ahead. * He plans ahead. * He knows ahead. * He creates ahead. * He activates ahead. * One of the most humbling truths a man can catch in our proud generation is a revelation is that he is not alone – Rom. 11:3 * The Lord spoke to me Expressively about this truth SEVEN MONTHS AGO, and the following words jumped out of 1 KINGS 19:14/18 – * ... I AM LEFT ALONE... * … YET I HAVE LEFT ME SEVEN THOUSAND IN ISRAEL… * The ignorance of the revelation of a Remnant will have the following negative effects 1.  It will bring Pride – 1 Kgs. 19:14/18 2.  It will bring Depression – 1 Kgs. 19:3-4/18 3.  It will bring Exemption from the Remnant – Rom. 11:4 4.  It will bring you and keep you in a state of Slumber – Rom. 11:7-8/ Eph. 5:14 * This is why standing as a lone ranger in this generation is a great risk. * No matter how high you seem to be getting in God, some people have been there before you. * There is a clarion call for my Generation. * We are a Generation that seeks an abundance of Revelation, but God desires a Generation that will tarry in His Presence till they carry the Fragrance of His Presence. * It is those that tarry in His Presence that carry His Fragrance. * But, entering and tarrying in His Presence will require, THREE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS. 1.  THE AWE OF GOD - Isa. 11:3/ Isa. 33:6. The Awe of God or Holy Fear does not quench intimacy, it enhances intimacy. Those who fear God have nothing to hide. Walking in authentic humility before God and before man is Holy Fear. One of my assignments is restoring the Fear of God - The Awe of God, to my generation. Ps. 24:3-4. 2.  THE LOVE OF GOD. The Love of God is key to carrying His Fragrance. - Matt. 22:37-40. But, it is possible to Love God and not Fear Him, and that’s true devotion begins with the Fear or Awe of God. AFFECTION 3.  THE HUNGER FOR GOD. This one is key to ascending in God. Matthew 5:6./ Ps. 42:1/ Ps. 63:1. Only the Hungry qualify to carry His Fragrance.
