How To Update Your iPhone Location Services

Your phone goes with you everywhere and has a lot of information about your location. But you can control which apps have access to your location services. To access these settings, find “Privacy” in your iPhones’ Settings. You’ll find “Location Services” at the top. At the top, you can turn off Location Services for all apps, but you can also choose to edit your services on an app by app basis. For most apps, you can choose to allow location access only while you are using the app or choose to never allow it. Some apps will also have the option to always allow location access. This means that Location Services for that app will be running even when you aren’t using it. Most apps that have this option have some kind of mapping component. You will always be able to find a note from the app that explains how it uses your location information to help you choose whether you allow access. Take the time to review these settings so you know which apps have Location Services enabled.
