基隆紅淡山，名列台灣小百岳之一，也是一百多年前清法戰爭時的清軍防線之一，山頂附近仍有當時的歷史遺跡。紅淡山三角點附近有一對狐狸石像，原為日治時代基隆末廣稻荷神社的狛狐。末廣稻荷神社的原址位於仁一路37巷的巷底，那附近在日治時代屬於基隆遊廓的範圍。 Keelung M. Hongdan is listed as one of Taiwan's Top 100 Suburban Mountains. It was also one of the defense lines of the Qing army during the Qing-French War more than a hundred years ago. There are still historical relics near the top of the mountain. There is a pair of stone fox statues near the triangle point of Hongdanshan. They were originally koma foxes of Suehiro Inari Shrine in Keelung during the Japanese reign era.
