HIKING | The NAKASENDO Trail - Kiso Valley, Japan

The Nakasendo trail in Kiso Valley is slightly off the typical tourist route, but is well worth the visit. It can be done as a day trip from Nagoya, Matsumoto or even as far as Takayama. We commenced our hike of this traditional postal route on the cobblestone streets of Magome and made our way through the lush valley to Tsumago, a picture perfect Japanese town.
