Watching Dolphin Tale helped spark Mayra's motivation and inspired her to work harder on her mobility and cooperate with her doctors and family to wear her daytime leg braces and night time casts. Mayra is a huge animal lover and when she saw there was an animal that uses a prosthetic tail for physical therapy it made her realize she isn't alone and wearing her braces would help.
