Alltrails Map: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/rec... Hike Notes This was my last hike in the Needles District for the trip, a backpacking overnighter in the Devil's Pocket. The hiking was easy, the weather was great, the landscape truly beautiful and I had the camp site at DP1 all for myself - dry camp and dry itinerary so I carried all my water for the two days. Could not ask for more! It was my third time down the Elephant Hill and Chesler Park trails for the trip: the one I enjoyed the most despite repeating the same walk. The cloudy sky provided a different ambience and traffic was surprisingly low. Although it was the Devil's Kitchen trail and the Devil's pocket area that I enjoyed the most. A true gem of Canyonlands. I saw no Evil and had a beautiful quiet sunset and night at DP1. The Devil's Kitchen to Elephant Canyon trail was also very beautiful and very enjoyable.
