4K MTB The CRUISIEST Kamloops Bike Ranch Trails for Chilly Days!!

My hometown, local shred spot, and more than 20+ years of my childhood MTB upbringing in one video! A cold and calm day's ride right from my front door- the trails I've been riding all my life and the paths that paved the rider I am today! The Kamloops Bike Ranch is known for it's huge freeride lines, jump trails, and absurdly dusty conditions- but some of the easier and less known trails are some of the best around! Perfect riding for a chilly fall day where the risk of 20+ foot jumps doesn't sound as appetizing as cruisy corners and rollers through the winding valley's and hills. Goes to show you don't have to be a Remy or Semenuk to enjoy the vibes of bike riding in one of the best public riding facilities in BC! (though if you ARE feeling sendy, bike ranch is still the go-to place) This was filmed late October and I just haven't got around to posting it now. I got another solid video lined up too, but still have to edit and I'm currently getting ready to move back to Whistler for the winter season. On top of that, I've hurt my rotator cuff while rock climbing, so I haven't been able to ride as much as I should've been. Hopefully the Insta360 will be good in the snow and I can get some stellar ski footage for the channel this winter too! Thanks for watching :) 0:00 - Riding to bike ranch 0:50 - Intro 1:20 - Pale Rider (local DH track w/ carnage corner) 2:00 - Tombstone (downhill pump-track style, rollers and small doubles) 4:03 - Three Amigos (fast and flowy rollers + corners) 5:56 - Rattlesnake (short section- tighter singletrack) 6:24 - Tumbleweed (blue jump trail, fun and flow for everyone) 7:49 - Blazing Saddles (proof a green trail can still be super fun) My bike is the 2022 We Are One Arrival, 150mm travel w/ Push Industries coil shock. This bike is bombproof and descends just as good as it climbs (which is really damn good btw). The frame and rims were hand-built in Kamloops which is my home town- and the rims were laid up by me as I worked there for about 2 years. I've been riding bikes since I was a kid and grew up in BMX racing, DH racing, watching freeride movies and going to events like Crankworx with my family. Needless to say, bikes are kind of everything to me. Glad I can start to share this world of mine with others, and begin to improve my editing and video making skills - I've wanted to do something like this for a long time now and I'm more than excited to see what the future brings!
