Peak Rail Bus Rally 2017

On Sunday the 18th of June, we headed to the Peak Rail at Rowsley in Derbyshire for the annual vintage bus gathering. We made the trip with our friends from the Barrow Transport Group aboard the recently acquired, Robinson's Holidays Leyland Tiger. The coach is something that the group has wanted for some time, in order to do the longer than normal trips, and its still a work in progress as we got back home later than expected following a breakdown in Morecambe. Despite this and the fact that large amounts of dust were being kicked up by moving vehicles on site, it was an enjoyable day out. The weather was perfect and allowed for some fantastic pictures. A brief flirtation with the town of Bakewell is also included.
