Taken from the Sailor's Encampment boat launch on St Joseph Island this is the James R Barker from the Interlake Steamship Company upbound on the St mary's River, making the turn at Jonson's Point which is across the river at Neebish Island (the green daymarker you'll see in the video as the bow appears, marks Johnson's Point) While I am friends with the ship's Captain, I did not text him because I did not want him to feel like he had to salute when he got to where I was... As it turns out he saw me because I got a text saying "Is that you over there?" to which I replied "Roger" and then I got "Hi Andrea :)" and shortly after that out came the salute LOL
