Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Classic Mode - Pit

Read description first Doing Pit's Classic Mode run. "In the name of Goddess Palutena, I do this for her!" proclaimed Pit with a fist in the air. "With my weapons, skills, and good looks, I vanquish every evil being of DARKNESS so they may never, EVER think about laying a finger on her smooth face! I get tougher in the face of ultimate danger, all for the sake of claiming victory under her banner of righteousness! The light of Skyworld shines brighter as a sign of my devotion to my faithful goddess, and with that sign around, no one is safe from me, Pit! Prepare yourselves, villains, for the day you'll kiss the ground and STAY there, for I will fly high above and smite you down all the way to next Sunday!" Chris eyed the rather discontented angry look on Palutena's face and then looked back at Pit, still with his fist up high. "Points for you for coming up with such victory rally cry, Pit," Chris said. Pit chuckled. "Thanks! I have about 20 memorized and still working on number 21," he said. "21 is gonna be different. It has rhymes and everything. Number 20 is a haiku." "Um, yes, of course," Chris said. "But...Palutena here is not in a happy mood." "What? Oh, Chris! What have you done to her?!" Pit asked. "Did you deny one of her many sacred orders? How dare you!" "Oh, believe me, I'd rather deny so many things she does, but that's not the point here," Chris said. Palutena spoke at last. "I'm flattered a route is centered around me and my loyal captain angel doing it for the goodness of my order. Really, I do, but...what's the whole point of that if I'm a FOE in it?" she asked in a serious tone. The look on Pit's face gradually went from healthy to a very ill one at that question. "U-uh, u-um, y-you see, I thought that was a fake you again," Pit said. "I was considering jumping off and throwing the match, but Pittoo stopped me and convinced me we had to take yo- er, take the fake Lady Palutena down..." And Pit dropped on his knees and pleaded, "OH PLEASE FORGIVE ME! I WAS JUST DOING MY JOB FOR MY ROUTE! PLEASE SPARE MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" Palutena narrowed her eyes at Pit. Pit started to shake in fear. "...No more floor ice cream for you for a month, Pit," Palutena said. "Floor chocolate bars are out of the question as well. I won't feed you those for a while." "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Pit cried out, grabbing his head. Chris was cringing as he watched the angel sob on the floor. Palutena didn't seem amused and was completely serious about the whole matter. "(On second thought, I got it good with her compared to him... Seriously, though? That's how he's fed?)" he thought. Key Notes: Classic Mode Overview (repeated in every other character video) - Unlike before, you will never start your difficulty at the maximum difficulty (9.9). The limit you can start is at 5.0. - However, depending on how well you do in every fight, the difficulty will steadily increase. The factors that contribute an increase are if you... 1) ...finished the fight as quickly as possible. 2) ...didn't stay put or mess around. 3) ...actually managed to avoid damage altogether (meaning a perfect run, which doesn't really guarantee an extra point). - At best, you can get a whole point (or more) added to difficulty. At worst, you get nothing. "Nice Plays" may just be compliments that usually are around 0.8 additions. Do your best to get to the end of the mural. - Using tickets avoids losing difficulty, but in case the difficulty is still increasing, you'll get a 0.1 increase if you win a match. - Oh, and you only get ONE life. Lose it, and you'll either spend money to continue while losing difficulty, use a Ticket without the drawback, or simply give up. - Classic Mode runs for every character aren't the same anymore. Instead of random setups, every character has a set path revolving around a theme. No differences will be made if you retry the same route. - Moreover, the final boss may or may not be unique to every fighter. It may be Master Hand and/or Crazy Hand, but it can be someone else. Pit's Final Boss - HADES! ...Is not here. It's again the hands, though Dark Pit will tag along to give you some help. That being said, do NOT rely too much on him. He won't probably last. "I guess he unlocks Incineroar because of the whole Dark-type and heel wrestler things so Pit takes him down in your name or something?" Chris asked Palutena. "Or could it be because Incineroar is the final in-game character and Pit gets to unlock it?" "Can't talk now. Still ticked off here," Palutena said, watching Pit sob in front of her feet. "I bet for sure Dark Pit had a field day taking part of Pit's route..." muttered Chris. Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
