Repairing a big, old and well used Makita 1805B beam planer.

Not often I get one these old girls in for repair. Love big old heavy duty makita tools like this. Something very satisfying about repairing machines like this. These planer are basicly build like any older makuta planer, simply on a bigger scale. So they are not hard to work on. A few new bearings, brushes, cable and a belt, soon get her up and running again. Was actually repaired in just the nic of time, as the brushes and some bearings where badly worn out. Just as a side note, this js not the biggest planer Makita make.
