Scrupulosity Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is also referred to as Religious or Moral OCD. People with this form of OCD experience obsessions and intrusive thoughts related to their religion or moral viewpoints. They often have to engage in compulsions that may seem to be a normal part of their religious practice at first, but they are taken to the extreme and can impair the person's functioning. These thoughts can make someone feel like they are immoral or evil, but they aren't! They are simply dealing with a form of OCD, and thankfully there are ways we can treat it.
