Strong legs are important to help keep seniors independent and prevent fall-related injuries. In this lower body strength workout for seniors, there are five exercises of 10 repetitions in 10 minutes. All you need is a sturdy chair. Too easy for you? Do another round or add ankle weights to the leg lift, back leg extension, and/or leg curl. - Leg Lift - Squat - Back Leg extension - Leg Curl - Heel Raises - 20 second finisher: March in place - Stretching Be sure to warm up before doing these exercises.
