During our visit to Herolds Bay on the Garden Route of South Africa, we were greeted with spectacular scenery as we drove through the caravan park. The lush green grass, chirping birds, and big trees were a sight to behold. As we made our way to the beach, we noticed food trucks lined up, selling delicious ice cream and a variety of other tasty treats. The air was filled with the delicious smell of food. I decided to take a leisurely stroll along the beach in search of shells that Sonia used to collect as a child. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was soothing, and I was captivated by the breathtaking view. We eventually stumbled upon two tidal pools with crystal clear water, which was a welcome sight. Across from the tidal pool, we saw a beautiful old Catholic Church, which piqued our curiosity. So I decided to take a closer look and was pleasantly surprised to find someone praying inside. It was a serene and peaceful atmosphere, and it added to the already-fantastic experience. To top it all off, we made our way up the hill to catch a glimpse of the spectacular view of Herolds Bay from the top. The view was simply breathtaking, and it left us in awe of the beauty of the Garden Route.
