Daves trip - MTB Scotland - Dave's Week In the Highlands riding classic trails

Follow Dave on his bespoke trip visiting the Scottish Highlands on a 3 centre 9 day trip riding big mountains, adventure trails and belting classics: - Glentress for a quick shakedown ride - Ben Macdui - Scotlands 2nd Highest Mountain - Lochnagar and the circuit of Loch Muick on the Royal Balmoral Estate - Deeside Classic "Heartbreak Ridge" with amazing views and classic granite slabs - A walking day off on Skye exploring Portree and the Amazing formation of the Quiraing - Exploring the highland clearance villages of Boreraig and Suisnish on Skye and dodging some unpleasant weather in the Skye Cuillin - Having an adventure exploring the trails of Raasay; an island off the coast of Skye, and finally - The utter classic "Achanshellach Descent" in Torridon for a technical rock classic to finish. Dave chose what and how we rode - he wanted a partnership rather than a pure guided experience and he wanted to feel the adventure, so you will see quite a bit of Dave in the POV sections as he rode in front, clear on what was to come and how to navigate the next sections. He chose the challenges and the days and locations too - this was a truly tailor made experience for him. This trip was 2 years and a number of zoom meetings in the making, but Dave had a blast - and has gone home not just buzzing, but also claiming new PR's all over his local trails - Go Dave!!
