Three great affordable alternatives to Fender offset guitars from G&L, Vintage and Harley Benton!

Today we’re comparing three affordable offset guitars that aren't made by Fender: the G&L Doheny Tribute, the Vintage V65, and the Harley Benton JA-60CC. G&L Doheny Tribute at Thomann: https://thmn.to/thoprod/558812?offid=... At Sweetwater: https://sweetwater.sjv.io/rQBdQ5 Harley Benton JA60-CC: https://thmn.to/thoprod/514488?offid=... More on the Vintage V65 here: https://vintageguitarsus.com/collecti... I’m currently on a journey of discovery when it comes to offsets, and I wanted to see what else is out there besides Fender – and I thought some of you might be on the same journey too and might appreciate me documenting it! OK, so G&L are a Leo Fender company as well, but you get the point: the world of the offset extends beyond that of the Jazzmaster, Jaguar and Mustang Fender and Squier guitars that we typically see. Indeed, all three of these guitars have their own thing going on. The G&L Doheny features Leo Fender-designed single coil MFD (Magnetic Field Design) pickups, alongside the Leo-designed PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) tone pot design and dual fulcrum vibrato bridge. The Vintage V65, meanwhile, was designed by another guitar industry legend – Trev Wilkinson – and features his hardware throughout, including a pair of Wilkinson soapbar P90s. The Harley Benton is all about what HB does best: offering the most affordable take on a certain style with as much as they can squeeze in at under $200! The JA-60CC has two Roswell JM-style pickups, and, like the Vintage, features a hardtail bridge. In this video, I test the three guitars out in as many different musical styles as possible, from country, folk, surf and indie, to pop, rock, blues, punk, metal and more. Which one do you think sounds best? The amp went from the Red Box DI straight into my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, which went into Logic Pro X. That's it. No post-processing on the sounds was done.
