Self awareness is pretty much a superpower when you know how to use it. So how do you increase self awareness? How do you “know thyself”? Everyone from the ancient Greeks to Sun Tzu, from present-day influencers like Gary Vaynerchuk to Daniel Goleman have told us how important it is to be self aware. With self awareness, you can maximize your strengths, identify and fix your weaknesses, and know how to become who you admire in life. But how do you actually go about doing that? What can you do to practice and grow self awareness? Here are 5 ways that I have used to improve my own sense of self awareness to better understand myself. It’s helped me to learn how to take care of myself, which opportunities I should chase in life, which opportunities to safely ignore, and how to design my life in a way that helps me to become who I admire the most.
