First Day In Sri Lanka Couldn't Have Been Better! 🇱🇰

We finally made it to Sri Lanka for the first time and today was our first day exploring big city Colombo! We kicked off the day with a super traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of rice and curry which was fantastic. From there we headed directly across the road and tried an unknown street drink which was pretty interesting. We then met Colombo's kindest man Shan who really showed us true Sri Lankan hospitality on our first day in this beautiful country. We shared some fresh buffalo curd and the local treacle which went down a right treat. Sri Lanka is a island country so we thought it would only be right if we checked out a local beach. Off we went down the road, over the train tracks where we got our first taste of this paradise island. Finally we ended our first day here with some more delicious local food that again was excellent. I've gotta be honest we like Colombo way more than we thought we would, especially out of the city center where we're staying 🇱🇰 Subtitles Available!
