Redesigning the Gibson Les Paul is something I have been working on for a long time! I finally have a new guitar design that I love. My plan for this guitar was not only to revise and update the shape to a new flavour of singlecut but also to address the ergonomic issues I have with the standard Les Paul. Among other things they are weight, upper fretboard access, TOM bridge, body thickness & switch position. This video includes my general thoughts on guitar design and crafting a unique guitar shape as well as some of my top tips for those that are designing their first guitar.
