for English please scroll down. İllər öncə Azərbaycanda bir yox, bir neçə Nardaran adlı yaşayış məntəqəsinin olduğunu öyrənmişdim və onları bir bir gəzəcəyimi qarşıma məqsəd qoymuşdum. Bu Nardaranlardan biri, Qobustan rayonunda yerləşir. Nardaran təzəlikcə kənd statusu alıb və yaxın vaxtlara kimi qışlaq sayılırdı. Bu Nardaranın digər iki kənddən fərqi isə, yaxınlığında eyni adlı yüksəkliyin və pilpilələr qrupunun olmasıdır. Kənddə yeni məktəb vardır, lakin Siyəzənin Nardaranı kimi, burda da bir neçə ev var və infrastruktur yox səviyyəsindədir. Səfərimiz Nardaran qrupu pilpilələrin ərazisinədir. Bu qrup Şərqi və Qərbi olmaqla iki hissədən ibarətdir və müvafiq prefikslə Nardaranaxtarma adlanır. Pilpilələrin adlandırılma prinsipi ilə yaxınlığdakı yerin adından digər hissəsi isə pirit kristalının Azərbaycan dilindəki adından götürülüb. Dolayısıyla, pilpilə ərazisində bu kristala rast gəlmək mümkündür. Bundan başqa, kəndin cənubunda yerləşən adsız yüksəkliyin cənubunda kəndin qəbirstanlığı yerləşir. Ərazidə qəbirlər yetəri qədər qədimidir. Buna səbəb, yerləşimin köç yolunun üstündə yerləşməsidir. Axtarışlar davam edir... Nardaran of Gobustan Years ago, I learned that in Azerbaijan, there was not one but several settlements named Nardaran, and I set myself the goal of visiting each one. One of these Nardarans is located in the Gobustan district. Nardaran has recently gained village status and was considered as a nomad`s settlement until recently. The difference between this Nardaran and the other two villages is the presence of a nearby elevation and a group of mud volcanoes with the same name. The village has a new school, but like the Nardaran of Siyazan, there are only a few houses here and the infrastructure is almost nonexistent. Our trip is to the area of the Nardaran group mud volcanoes. This group is divided into two parts: Eastern and Western, and is called Nardaranakhtarma with the corresponding prefix. As usual the naming principle of the mud volcanoes, this one also from the name of the nearby place, while the other part is taken from the Azerbaijani name of the pyrite crystal. It points out that it is possible to find this crystal in the area of the mud volcanoes. Additionally, the village cemetery is located to the south of the unnamed elevation located to the south of the village. The graves in the area are quite ancient. This is because the location is situated on a nomadic migration route that has existed for thousands of years in this region. Furthermore, on the previously mentioned unnamed elevation and all elevations around it, we found traces of the Sun totem (presumably). There are numerous cup mark carvings of various sizes and depths on the rocks in the direction of the sunrise and around the area. Of course, this belief is also reflected in the gravestones after the advent of Islam. From the elevation, a mysterious view of Gobustan opens up, with panoramic vistas stretching far and wide. From here, one can see even the Yusuf and Galandartapa heights and even the Otman Bozdagh mud volcano located near the settlement of Sangachal.
