An Unconventional Student - Trails Into Reverie - Part 148 - Beyond The Reverie Daydream

Our playthrough of Trails Into Reverie nightmare difficulty continues! That's right ladies and gentlemen our journey through the Legend Of Heroes Trails Into Reverie isn't over just yet as there is one rather significant Daydream Episode left to see! The special white sealing stone daydreams are not like the original blue ones, these show us a quick glimpse or a teaser if you will of what will happen in the next Kiseki series Trails Through Daybreak! That's right we are going to see what Falcom has in store for the next Legend Of Heroes arc, boy oh boy are we in for a treat in Daybreak! The characters/lore/world building that we are already seeing of what is to happen in Calvard has been none other than astounding and could potentially lead to the darkest and most brutal entry into the Kiseki series ever! Finally Falcom seems to be taking the story to a far more serious direction, at least that's how these incredible white sealing stones are making it out to be. Beyond The Reverie series of narrative story books is nothing like i expected from the end of Trails Into Reverie but it has immediatly jumped in as some of the best moments of the entire game! In todays Daydreams Episode which is aptly called "An Unconventional Student" sees us take on the role of everyones favourite crazy purple haired girl Renne Bright, as she joins Aramis Academy in the Calvard Republic. However as expected she's not there to merely attend school and get good grades, oh no no Renne Bright is on an incognito mission to see what is going on in Calvard. In which there is no better cover story than being a simple school girl, after all who would really suspect a school girl of essentially spying. However things quickly take a turn as Renne cannot blend in no matter how hard she tries, as being a genius girl who got the highest score on the entrance exam whilst also being incredibly cute and endearing. Means that she was the talk of the school instantly, which on the whole is nothing too concerning as it's simply other school children being in awe of her looks and brains. But as is often the case in real life as well, those looks of admiration are often paired with jealousy and hate. Without having done anything wrong or provocative she becomes the main focus of this side stories villain Ronald Griffith, who is in my eyes anyway the worse person to ever exsist in the Kiseki series beating even Cedric Reise Arnor. Being the son of a top politician he has essential immunity from his bad behaviour as his dear father would bail him out of anything, but he wants more than just most of the power as they often do. He wants the role of student council president so he has complete power over every student, Renne being the focus of the school albeit unintentionally has put a spanner is his plan. So buckle up ladies and gentlemen as we see Renne Bright take on Ronald Griffith as she tries to survive harrasment and bullying at the hand of Ronald and his lackies. Can she keep calm and not take matters into her own hands which will blow her cover, or will Ronald come out on top in the end!
