This is not a traditional lasagna recipe so right off the bat, don't come for me. This is Matty Matheson's recipe that was posted by Vice before Matty blew up. There is no ricotta or béchamel sauce to be found here. This is just meat, a hint of tomato, and cheese. Upon tasting, it was described as a meat lovers lasagna. And that it is. Intense beefy flavor, lots of cheese, and a very flavorful bolegnese. I will say that will probably not add as much oil next time just because of the amount of fat that is in the ground beef (you could just buy leaner ground beef too) because I ended up removing about 2 cups of grease/oil when it was all said and done. Not particularly healthy, but when has a lasagna ever been described as healthy? Recipe to Matty's original video and written recipe is below.
