Now in the care of the National Trust, Chartwell offers an insight into the life of Britain's great wartime leader, but so much more about him, and his wife, Lady Clementine Churchill, and their family life. In our video, we will explore the different gardens, including the walled garden, explore the house, which will throw up a few surprises, before heading to his studio, where Sir Winston would come to relax and indulge in one of his passions. We will then take a stroll around the lake. We will meet Jock (VII) and the black swans, hear from the great man himself and take a peek at the Museum he envisaged for Chartwell.
