In this video, I make further modifications to my generator box inside the garage at my off grid cabin in the woods. After posting the video of me building my indoor noise cancelling generator box, I got lots of useful feedback and wanted to implement a few of those suggestions to see if they would improve the box's performance. To start, I diverted the intake pipes further away from the generator exhaust to prevent fumes from re-entering the box. Next, I changed the direction of the 4" ducting fan to blow fresh air inside the box (as opposed to outside as I originally designed it to do). These changes dropped the inside temperature of the box by 9 degrees F. After running the generator for nearly 6 hours non stop, the inside temperature of the box stabilized at 52 degrees F (while the exterior temperature fluctuated between 34-37 degrees F) and the carbon monoxide detector registered 0 PPM inside the garage.
