I will get that All Super Emeralds Gear 2 run done but I keep failing it and yet I just did this run resetless (Including no Emerald resets) on Master... Yep go figure. And it didn't take me a week of attempts to do this either. I have not done any practice on Master before and at the start of Barrier Cup it was my 1st time on the tracks on Master as I hadn't got that far on previous attempts of this run Master does have the perk of not requiring Prisons. Instead I just have to finish 1st overall in the cup. How hard can it be? Well in some cups pretty hard actually. It only takes 1 item on the final lap for everything to go wrong... Replay Auto Save is enabled to look at later for CPU perspective if something interesting happens 3:37 - Never expected my Rival to be helping out giving me Ring Boxes while a SPB chases me 16:48 - I hate how it's my own Bunper I placed while big 21:49 - Oh no... Mighty is 3 points away from me. I can only be 1 place below Mighty and its THIS track next.. At the time I thought I was screwed 22:44 - My fears were feeling pretty justified at this point. I am 1 place below Mighty but this track is brutal and it can all change 23:58 - Me: No no no NO! Don't end like this! 34:12 - What the heck? I got seriously lucky with those bounces 38:44 - Not got that Emerald that quick before 41:20 - That Mine is in a evil spot right in fhe middle of the track. Well, at least one of the CPU will hit it this lap right?... Right? 41:40 - Chonky SPB! 42:07 - No! This is impossible! Why is the Mine still here!? It looks like the same spot. I checked the replay.. They seriously all avoided it! 42:19 - I am seriously about to fail Angel Island... This is track one so no Rival! That Mine + SPB has ruined me 42:36 - Well this is a great start to the cup! I have a 4th to work with 46:19 - This stage is going surprisingly chill for being Master difficulty. Totally not jinxing it by thinking this... 46:41 - Well I had to think it was going well didn't I? Of course this goes wrong at the final lap 46:58 - Yes Rings! Always coming in clutch at the last moment sniping that 1st place 49:31 - Another 4th in the same cup. This ain't going well 49:49 - At least Regal Ruin is normally chill. What can possibly go wrong? I only have to Beat Metal Sonic. Easy right? 51:33 - No! I'm going to fail! Oh I thought I was gonna drown... Metal Sonic rubberbanded so hard in lap 2 if you didn't notice. I was so close to failing the cup 54:23 - Oh you are joking. I don't need a SPB here on Master! 55:08 - So funny thing. I was considering getting hit by the SPB as I started lap 3 but I saw Knuckles rapidly approaching and I changed my mind. The game said I was taking the SPB anyway 55:33 - This is the most useless Tripwire shortcut I have used 58:01 - That Shrink absolutely ruined this 58:19 - Clutch Rocket Sneakers there.. Ah. Metal Sonic is 1st and I am now 6 points behind 59:56 - Hitboxes? What are those? For once the game is being generous 1:06:10 - That was.. very chill. That's unlike you Collision Chaos. I've had way more chaotic attempts on Vicious here 1:07:14 - Nice Emerald grab. Now I don't have to worry about it zooming at the end 1:14:46 - Right I got (close to) 20 Rings now to go back to the start lin- Why are you 2 following me!? 1:15:27 - Shrink is sometimes inconsistent huh? See 59:56 1:16:17 - Oh come on! I was barely under it 1:16:54 - This track.. Is unpredictable 1:18:05 - 3x Sneakers? Let's go! 1:18:36 - I might have just had the cleanest Joypolis ever 1:19:02 - I was seriously considering restarting the Emerald here. 1 Spike out of 3 is not great 1:19:15 - That could've gone badly. What if it pushed me OOB 1:20:04 - YES! 1st try Spikes. I wasn't worried nope! 1:21:37 - Eggman! Why are these Spikes even here!? Who would ever hit them outside of this specific situation 1:22:00 - Ok. That was a mistake. A tad more aggressive turning angle than I expected there 1:22:17 - I would never normally say this... But it's sure lucky the 'dead stop when hitting a side wall' is a thing right now! Or I would've bumped straight into invincible Knuckles 1:24:00 - How did I do that!? Someone tell me! That is a really good speedrun strat and I must know! 1:24:42 - Nearly hit that Spikeball 1:29:26 - Oh man. These near misses I keep having! 1:30:22 - The more you know. Ring Sting doesn't occur if you hit a small player 1:34:13 - The SPB is really being a good Shield for me right now! It's delaying Amy a lot 1:34:23 - YEAH!! The perfect Item to find at 1st place! Well other than Shrink. But that's basically useless to find on the final lap 1:36:07 - I didn't even notice before there are Rocket Sneakers here
