The report of Hamas’ new ceasefire offer is mind boggling when we read that Israel may be willing to accept it. Also, Hamas is winning in Gaza by doing nothing, letting the useful idiots do their work. Finally, France is set to experience more rioting today because of its second round of elections. Events continue to amazingly confirm what the Bible has to say about the circumstances of the world at the time of the end. These facts continue to emphasize why it’s crucial for us to know what the Bible has told us ahead of time will happen. Indeed, knowing Scripture helps us put the daily headlines into perspective. Headline 1 Hamas waiting for Israel's response to ceasefire offer According to Hamas' offer, the hostages will be released before the end of the fifth week of the second stage, and only after the IDF withdraws its forces. This is not a misprint! The hostages will not all be released until the end of the second stage of the agreement! Before they are all released, Israel will have withdrawn from Gaza and the rebuilding of Gaza will begin with Hamas still in existence. This is what they are proposing. Israel is actually sitting down with the mediator, Egypt, to hammer something out! Remarkable. Headline 2 This is why Hamas won't surrender - opinion Sinwar is basking in the residual effect of Israel’s self-defense since October 7, delighting in the fruit of the labors of those who may not necessarily want to be counted as his helpers. The rioting, however, will be done by those on the left who are protesting the fact that France is moving in this direction of populism.
