Time travel to the golden age of Hollywood with this simple makeup look of bold red lips and green eye-shadow and dark lashes epitomizing that old Hollywood glamour. Thanks to the likes of Max Factor and the Westmore Brothers, Hollywood's leading ladies captivated the hearts of cinema going audiences with their stunning looks. Through an evolving craft , these cosmetic gurus created a template for the female face which still applies in today's rules of applying makeup. Smooth matte foundation always avoids shine on photographs. Eyes and lips had to be sharply defined. From the 1920s vamp and flapper looks to the sophisticated 1950s makeup styles of Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. Elizabeth Taylor, famous for those hazel green eyes, always wore dramatic eye makeup. 0:19: Foundation. Apply a thick concealer to redness and blemishes. Use foundation to even out the overall tone of your face. 0:55: Brows. Use a dark brown pencil to draw thin, arched lines. 1:21: Eyes. Apply a matte light green shade all over the lid using a flat brush. Use a peach shade to work the crease of the eyelid up to the eyebrow, placing emphasis at the beginning of the eyebrow, apply the same shade to the lower eyelid. Use a dark brown shade to deepen the color in the crease and lower lid. Using a black liner, draw a line along the upper eyelashes. Fill in the space between eyelashes with a long-lasting black pencil. 3:20: Eyelashes. Apply two coats of black mascara to your upper and lower lashes and use false eyelashes. 3:52: Correction. Apply light concealer to the area under the eyes using a brush and sponge. Use a creamy sculptor in a cool brown shade to darken your cheekbones and make your nose appear thinner. 4:46: Blush. Apply a creamy bright orange blush to your cheeks using a fluffy brush. 5:17: Lips. Outline your lips with a light red pencil. Apply lipstick in a warm red shade. 5:46: Powder. Finish with loose powder to give your skin a porcelain look. That's all !
