The Garbo look captivated cinema goers from the late 1920s to the mid 1930s. With her signature thin arched eyebrows furrowed over smoky eyes and pouted lips. To contrast her makeup, Garbo often wore her hair in soft waves, parted from one side. She quit movies early and studiously remained out of the spotlight for the remainder of her life.
