I love to grow large vine crops like squash and watermelon but my garden space doesn't allow much space for sprawling plants. To solve this problem I use a variety of trellises to get the vines growing up instead of out. This allows me to grow lots of vine crops in a smaller amount of space. I grow flowers and vegetables in Saskatchewan, Canada. My cold hardiness zone is zone 4. I have an average of 110 frost free growing days each year. The past few years have seen our temperatures go as low as -37C (-34.6F) to as high as 37C (98.6F). Come see what and how I grow in these conditions.
