1,600 Miles NYC to Charleston, SC Solo on a Triumph Bonneville Motorcycle | Unexpected Roadblocks

If you'd like to support my channel and help me make more videos, you can purchase my eBook: Short Stories from the Long Road: A collection of short stories inspired by the motorcycle and adventures on the road @ https://ironhardt.com/store/p/sslr Join me on my solo motorcycle trip from NYC to South Carolina (about 800 miles one-way), and then pivoting to Shenandoah National Park in Virginia - filmed on three cameras. I took this motorcycle trip in September 2022, and after spending a few days in South Carolina and places like Santee Coastal Reserve (opening shots), I was chased out by Hurricane Ian and pivoted my trip to Shenandoah National Park in Virginia (about 500 miles) in order to avoid the winds and flooding. In Shenandoah, I was able to ride Skyline Drive and enjoy a campfire while motorcycle camping. My Triumph Bonneville is not the best highway touring bike in the world, but I was able to battle the windy eastern interstate of 95 most of the way south. About halfway through my trip, I purchased some saddlebags to allow for some additional waterproof protection, as I knew the rain was approaching. Initial quote by Sun Tzu.
